Freddy Frogface
Plot Summary
Freddy Frogface is an animated family adventure about a ten-year-old boy Victor, who lives in a boring, sleepy little town. Together with his best friends, Jacob and Clara and their dog Sausage, they spend their summer playing pranks on unsuspecting grown-ups.
One day a travelling circus comes to town. The circus director announces that the “Cannonball King” will give his very last performance and invites everybody to a big “show-your-special-talent” contest. As Sausage already knows some pretty good tricks, Victor jumps on the chance to perform at the circus and signs up for the show.
Unfortunately, Victor is the target of the town’s ugliest, no good, bully Freddy Frogface, who also has his eyes on the award. For him no trick is too mean to stop Victor from participating with his dog.
But can Victor and his friends stop Freddy’s sinister plan? Can they use their chance to perform at the circus? Victor and his friends outsmart Freddy who learns the hard way, that kids can stand up for themselves too. Naturally, Victor and Sausage’s show is a great hit, but Freddy is still lurking in the wings…
Freddy Frogface is a film about being small in a world where everyone else seems big. It teaches an important lesson about not being a bully. But most important it is about the courage to stand up for oneself no matter what the odds!
